“注册？老夫我多大年纪了，还要干这事儿？”老王头嘀咕着，可手还是不自觉地点下去。 filling in the form was easier than expected. No ID required, just a username and password. He typed in “Old Wang” for the username and set a password he could remember: “123456”.

As soon as he submit the form, the screen changed. A welcome message popped up: “Welcome to the Myriad Worlds Realm Forum, Old Wang! As a new member, you have received a bonus: one gold ingot and a task.”

老王头一愣。“金元宝？这虚拟的东西也能当钱花？”他有点兴奋，但更多的是疑惑。 He read the task description: “Task: Become a security guard in another realm. Reward: One gold ingot. Difficulty: Low.”

“当保安？就在别的位面？”老王头皱起眉头。他一个六十多岁的老头子，还在家里种种菜、下下棋，哪去当什么保安？而且这“位面”是什么玩意儿？听起来就像那种小说里的东西。

正当他犹豫不决时，一个提示音响起： “You have 10 minutes to complete the task. Failure to complete the task will result in loss of the reward.”

老王头急了。“完了完了，这什么情况？”他赶紧查看自己的“背包”，发现里面确实有一个金元宝图标，旁边还写着“奖励：一个金元宝”。
